Journal of Apoplexy and Nervous Diseases, which was founded by the famous neurologist Professor Duosan Liu and began publication in March 1984, is supervised by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China and sponsored by Jilin University, and it has been included as one of the Source Journals for Chinese Scientific and Technical Papers and Citations (Chinese Core Journals of Science and Technology). The journal primarily features articles on cerebrovascular diseases and also covers other neurological and neurosurgical diseases as well as neurological complications in various clinical diseases. It aims to reflect the major advances in neurology in clinical practice and scientific research in China and abroad, serve the clinicians and researchers, and promote academic exchanges in China and abroad.

The journal includes columns such as Guidelines and Expert Consensus, Commentary, Expert Lecture, Original Article and Experience Summary, Review, Short Article and Case Report, and Teaching Garden.
