The Journal of Apoplexy and Nervous Diseases started publication in March 1984. It is supervised by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China and is sponsored by Jilin University. It has been included as one of the Source Journals for Chinese Scientific and Technical Papers and Citations (Chinese Core Journals of Science and Technology). At present, the only acceptable way of contributing to the Journal is online submission on the website. Submission through email and mail will be rejected.

1. Please identify and log in to the only official website of Journal of Apoplexy and Nervous Diseases: www.zfysjjbzz.com.

2. After logging in, the author can contribute online (see the article template for details on formatting). Remember to save a copy of the manuscript for your own archiving. For the first-time login, you need to register. Please enter authentic and complete personal information. After successful registration, you can log in using your username and password, and contribute online according to the instructions of the submission system. After a manuscript number is generated for your submission, a manuscript processing fee of 50 RMB per manuscript is chargeable as required. After receipt of the manuscript, the Editorial Office will start the review in a timely manner. Thus, no manuscript processing fee shall be refunded for retraction of the manuscript for any reason.

3. According to the requirements on abstracts as per the Presentation of academic papers (GB/T 7713.2-2022), all manuscripts must be submitted with Chinese and English abstracts attached. The original article should have structured abstracts in Chinese and English, with a word count of no more than 400 words; short articles and reviews should have reporting/indicative abstracts in Chinese and English, with a word count of no more than 300 words.

4. The author can inquire about the manuscript’s status, revise the reviewed manuscript, and communicate about manuscript issues in the submission system.

5. The signatory authors should be accountable for the content of the manuscript and have their names listed in order.

6. Related endorsement materials (a reference letter from the affiliation(s) of the author(s), a fund certificate, an ethical review document, a conflict of interest statement, an author contribution statement, etc.) can be uploaded in the attachment uploading area in the online submission system.

7. After acceptance and publication of the manuscript in the regular issue of the Journal, two copies of the sample issue will be provided to the author(s).

8. The author(s) shall be accountable for the manuscripts submitted. This Journal has the right to modify and delete the text of the manuscript submitted. Where a modification that may change the original meaning of the text is involved, the author shall be consulted for confirmation. In case of any dissent, please declare it in advance.

9. A manuscript shall be retracted directly once it is found to involve multiple submissions, excessive text duplication, or falling out of the scope of the Journal.
