Zhao Xingquan

Director of Center for Neurological Diseases, General Party Branch Secretary, Director of Vascular Neurology Department, Beijing Tiantan Hospital, Capital Medical University; Chief Physician, Professor, Doctoral Advisor, Post-Doctoral Co-Advisor. He is dedicated to research on cerebrovascular diseases, dizziness, brain aging and related fields; he has published SCI papers as first author or corresponding author, with a cumulative impact factor of more than 800. He undertook, participated in, and organized multiple scientific research projects, including National Key Research and Development Program during the periods of the Eleventh Five-Year Plan, Twelfth Five-Year Plan, and Thirteenth Five-Year Plan; Pharmaceutical Collaborative Scientific and Technological Innovation Research of Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences; National Natural Science Foundation of China; and “Shiming” and “Dengfeng” Talent Training Program of Beijing Hospitals Authority. He serves as member of the Committee and Secretary-general of Neurology Branch of Chinese Medical Association; Leader of Dizziness Collaborative Group of Neurology Branch of Chinese Medical Association; Deputy Group Leader of Cerebrovascular Disease Group of Neurology Branch of Chinese Medical Association; President of Beijing Stroke Association; Vice Chairman of Neurology Branch of Beijing Medical Association; Chairman of Professional Committee on Vertigo, Division of Neurology, Chinese Medical Doctor Association; Deputy Secretary-general of Chinese Stroke Association; and Chairman of Stroke and Vertigo Branch. He won the Second Prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award (2 prizes) and Provincial and Ministerial Science and Technology Progress Award (9 prizes). Beijing Scholar, expert enjoying the Special Government Allowance of the State Council. He was selected in the National Hundred-Thousand-Ten Thousand Talents Project and “Dengfeng” Talent Training Program of Beijing Hospitals Authority; he won the titles of Young and Middle-aged Expert with Outstanding Contributions from the Ministry of Health and High-level Health Technical Personnel Pace-Setter in Scientific Research of Beijing Health System.
