Vice Chairman of Neurology Branch of Chinese Medical Association; Leader of Neuromuscular Disease Group; Chairman of Neuropathy Rare Disease Branch of Shandong Association for the Prevention and Treatment of Rare Diseases; and Associate Editor-in-Chief of Chinese Journal of Neurology. Main research interests: Difficult and rare diseases of the nervous system. Especially good at the diagnosis and treatment of difficult, critical, and rare diseases of the nervous system such as inherited degenerative diseases of the nervous system, neuromuscular diseases, neurogenetic and metabolic diseases, peripheral nerve diseases, and neuroimmune diseases. In recent years, he has published more than 60 SCI papers in well-known journals in China and globally, including Neurology, Ann Neurol, J Neurology Neurosurg Psychiatry, Free Radic Biol Med, and The Lancet (clinical picture). He has published more than 60 original articles and commentaries in series journals of the Chinese Medical Association and compiled Modern Neurologic Medicine (a large reference book of 1.6 million words) as First Associate Editor-in-Chief. He and his research team have undertaken the National Natural Science Foundation of China and key projects of national ministries and commissions (more than 10 projects); he won the Second Prize of Shandong Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award (2 prizes) and honorary titles of Young and Middle-Aged Leading Talent in Science and Technology Innovation in Shandong Provincial Health System, Qingdao City Innovative Leading Talent, Qingdao Top Talent, and Qingdao Model Worker.
