Lin Weihong
Lin Weihong, Chief Physician, Professor. Areas of expertise: Epilepsy. Main research interests: Basic applied research on epilepsy. She, as the responsible person, undertook nearly 20 scientific research projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, National Health Commission, and Science and Technology Commission of Jilin Province. She participated in the compilation of 4 textbooks on neurology planned by People’s Medical Publishing House and Higher Education Press. She won the Second and Third Prizes of Scientific Research Achievements of Jilin Provincial Department of Science and Technology for the projects she undertook as the responsible person. In 2008, she won the Special Contribution Award for Epilepsy Prevention and Management Project in Rural Areas of China of National Epilepsy Prevention and Management Project Office, National Health Commission. She has published 40 SCI papers.
She serves as President of Jilin Association Against Epilepsy; Executive Director of China Association Against Epilepsy; member of the Committee of Electroencephalography and Epilepsy Group of Neurology Branch of Chinese Medical Association; Vice Chairman of Epilepsy Comorbidity Committee, Professional Committee of Tuberous Sclerosis Complex, and Patient Support Committee of China Association Against Epilepsy; member of the Standing Committee of Surgical Techniques and Preoperative Evaluation for Epilepsy Collaborative Group, Tan’s Foundation of China Association Against Epilepsy; member of the Committee of Epilepsy Center Standardized Construction Committee of China Association Against Epilepsy; responsible person in Jilin Province and member of the Expert Panel of National Project Office of Epilepsy Prevention and Management Project in Rural Areas of China, National Health Commission; Vice Chairman of China Primary Health Care Fund Management Committee; member of the Standing Committee of Jilin Medical Association and Neurology Branch of Jilin Medical Doctor Association; Associate Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Apoplexy and Nervous Diseases and Journal of Epileptology and Electroneurophysiology (China); Editorial Board Member of Journal of Epilepsy and Journal of Clinical Neurology.
