Cui Li, Professor, Chief Physician, Doctoral Advisor. Director of Department of Neurology, The First Hospital of Jilin University; Director of Department of Neurology; Deputy Director of Jilin Provincial Center for Medical Quality Control of Neurological Diseases. She graduated from Department of Clinical Medicine, Norman Bethune Health Science Center of Jilin University in 1990 and has been working there in clinical practice in The First Hospital of Jilin University. She obtained her Master’s Degree in Neurology in 1997 and Doctoral Degree in Neurology in 2001. She finished her research at the physiology post-doctoral research station from 2002 to 2004. She was promoted to Associate Professor and Associate Chief Physician in 2004 and was promoted, on a fast track, to Professor and Chief Physician in 2008. She served as Deputy Director of the Department of Neurology from 2014 to 2018 and has served as Director of the Department of Neurology since March 2018.
　　Her research interests are epilepsy, infectious diseases of the nervous system, and prion disease. She undertook more than 10 scientific research projects sponsored by the National Natural Science Foundation of China as well as Jilin Provincial Department of Science and Technology and Jilin Provincial Department of Health. Additionally, she participated in the compiling of Neurology, a universal textbook for colleges and universities published by Higher Education Press. She has published more than 70 papers. Up to now, she has trained 27 masters and 3 doctors. She was honored as Advanced Individual in Educating, Supervising, and Serving Students in Jilin University in 2018 and was honored as Jilin Medical Ethics Model in 2019.
